Oscar Winning Actor Gene Hackman, his wife Betsy Arakawa, and their dog were found deceased Wednesday in their New Mexico home. Authorities discovered their bodies Wednesday while executing a welfare check. Police say foul play is not suspected at this time but an investigation is ongoing.
Hackman is a five-time Oscar nominee and a two-time winner for The French Connection in 1972 and The Unforgiven two decades later. His career spanned over forty years, beginning in the 1960s and finishing in the early 2000s when he retired.
